RECRUITING MANAGER- Pella, IA
SUMMARY: The Recruiting Manager provides and executes talent acquisition strategies and innovative solutions required to create and sustain the competitive advantage gained by attracting and selecting the best caliber people for the organization's current and future needs. This role ensures an on-going pipeline of the top talent to fill positions at all levels in the organization while focusing on diversity initiatives and guidelines. This position is also responsible for managing and developing the recruitment processes and team responsible for sourcing, selecting, and recruiting for a diverse pool of qualified candidates across the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners, to establish innovative strategies and execution of talent acquisition and diversity initiatives that are in alignment with company objectives, guidelines, and policies.
Assist hiring managers with filling open requisitions from sourcing through point of hire. Maintain effective practices to facilitate the hiring process, minimizing administrative time and efforts while ensuring the placement of qualified individuals. Extend and negotiate offers of employment to selected candidates in accordance with the companys compensation philosophies. Complete appropriate reference, background checks and coordinate relocation efforts, as required.
Establish and nurture long term relationships with educational institutions, diversity organizations, professional/industry associations and community agencies. Ascertain relationships with the vendors that provide support to the recruiting process, which includes but not limited to job boards, local and nationwide recruitment agencies, independent contractors etc.
Lead, develop and supervise recruitment team in performance of their duties including, but not limited to, interviewing, hiring, evaluation, scheduling work activities, discipline and discharge. Establish and monitor individual and team goals which are aligned with the Organizations business strategies and objectives.
Manage processes relative to recruiting and diversity objectives e.g. applicant tracking, job posting, sourcing and recruiting metrics, consistent with company policy and procedures. Analyze trends, create metrics and understand business needs to develop highly effective and proactive recruiting strategies and programs.

Education and Experience: 4-year college degree, preferably in Business Administration with an emphasis on HR with 5-7 years of HR experience with focus on recruiting, preferred; and/or equivalent combination of education and/or experience, required. 1-2 year of management experience a plus. PHR or SPHR certification is a definite plus. Knowledge of employment laws a must.
Should be able to demonstrate strong communication, organizational, time management, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
