We have a similar stand alone program for sick leave; however, we do not
allow for it to be used for medical/dental appointments unless the
appointment turns into hospital admittance.

We accrue 4 hours per month for full-time and 2 hours per month for
part-time.

We are reviewing our current paid leave programs and are wondering how
our paid time off compares to other companies.

We have a stand alone vacation program and something that we call
Excused Absence (EA). EA is where our sick leave is located, but it can
also be used for important personal business (medical appointments etc.)
This program currently accrues at 4 hours a month or 48 hours per year
for all employees.

I would appreciate it if you would share with me your accrual/grant for
sick leave or any other similar program.

Thanks in advance for sharing this information.
