[IASHRM] I-9 Compliance Issue

During a recent I-9 audit I was asking for updated documentation, i.e.
Driver's License, I.D's, etc. We had an employee, who has been working
in Idaho for the last seven years, turn in and Identification Card from
the state of Oregon. This brought on suspicion from his supervisor as
well as those of us here at Corporate. Does anyone know if there is
anything in the compliance that specifically states it is necessary that
it come from the state he is working in and/or has been living in for
the past 7 years?
