Hi Heather!

Our organization offers courses in just what you are asking about.  After
successful implementations in both our Omaha and Kansas City offices, we are
currently in the process of introducing our Academy for WorkForce Management
classes to the Des Moines and surrounding areas.  Topics cover items such as
Hiring & Selection, Communication, Discipline & Termination, and Management
& Leadership.  I thought I would also include the link to the classes, so
you could take a closer look at our program.

Academy Courses, you'll see classes with the * next to them.  Those are the
ones that are typically offered as part of our Academy training. I am also
including a PDF that does a good job of explaining the courses.

Currently the following classes are scheduled at the Ankeny Chamber of
Commerce:
-Thursday, 9/13 - HR and the Law 
-Tuesday, 10/16 - Setting Goals and Establishing Priorities 
-Tuesday, 11/13 - Hiring the Right People.

All classes are scheduled from 8:30-11:30am.  All of these are classes are
offered $79 with a $10 discount for Ankeny Chamber members.  We also can
bring these classes into your organization.

After a survey was completed in our building it became evident to our
supervisors that communication, organization and leadership were clear
problem areas. I have been asked by our CEO to find seminars/trainings that
would help him and other supervisors to improve these aspects in our
building. Does anyone have suggestions of seminars/trainings that were
helpful or ones to stay away from?
