Hi Charity,

Our attorney informed me a few years back that the State of Iowa has a law
that requires Iowa-based employers to pay out any accrued vacation upon
termination. I'd suggest consulting an attorney regarding your situation
and/or visiting/searching http://www.legis.state.ia.us/IowaLaw.html for
guidance.

I am curious how many companies out there require an employee to give a
two-week notice to be eligible for payout of unused vacation upon
termination.
