Executive Search Consultant

RSM McGladrey

 

Due to expanding opportunities within the Des Moines marketplace, we are
adding an Executive Search Consultant to our practice. As part of the firm's
consulting team, this position will be responsible for identifying executive
search opportunities both within and outside the firm's client base and
participates in selling, proposing, and performing executive search
assignments. In addition to offering diversity in clients and projects, this
position offers the opportunity to work in a team environment and the
authority to manage client accounts with autonomy and a high level of
accountability. 

Responsibilities will include:

. Networking with internal client servers to identify executive search
opportunities within the client base.
. Networking in the community and promoting RSM McGladrey's executive search
capabilities.
. Meeting with prospects to understand the prospect's organization and
hiring needs.
. Professionally presenting RSM McGladrey's executive search services.
. Preparing and presenting proposals for executive search services.
. Conducting all phases of executive search assignments including: sourcing
potential candidates, interviewing and assessing candidates, checking
references and background information, and preparing professional report
profiles on recommended candidates. 

Qualifications: 
. Bachelor's degree in Human Resource, Business, or related field. 
. 5 or more years of recruiting experience in executive search or permanent
placement with a staffing firm.
. Excellent knowledge of sourcing and interview techniques as well as an
in-depth knowledge of federal, state and local laws regarding employment and
staffing practices. 
. Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office Word and Excel, experience
w/applicant tracking system helpful.
. Must be self motivated and able to work independently.
. Solid interpersonal skills with the capability of relating to individuals
at all levels within an organization. 
. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
. Strong organizational skills, detail orientation and the ability to
multi-task and meet time deadlines.
. Ability to handle stressful situations, always operating with a sense of
urgency and using good judgment.
