I certainly agree on the unwanted mail/e-mail!  I have server-side software
that blocks tens of thousands of spam messages a month!

 

I'm a member of CVSHRM here in Waterloo/CF.  When we join/renew there is the
option of opting out of mail solicitations from the list that the chapter
might sell.

 

I'm not sure what CISHRM, the Des Moines area chapter's policy is on their
list.  It will be interesting to see how the different chapters handle this.

While I am not in the targeted areas, I object to CISHRM selling mailing
lists to anyone. I believe we all get enough unwanted mail/email.
