August Home Publishing has an opening for a full-time Human Resources
Specialist. This position is primarily responsible for recruiting and hiring
of Professionals for August Home Publishing. The Human Resource Specialist
will work with the HR Director and management to identify hiring needs, job
duties, KSA's required for the position and writes job descriptions and ads
to be posted. In addition this position conducts new hire orientations,
prepares new hire and benefits paperwork, enrolls and terminates employee
benefits, reconciles benefit bills, and administers COBRA, FMLA, and
Worker's Compensation.  The HR Specialist will also be responsible for
maintaining personnel files and records in our employee database.   

 

The ideal candidate will have a 4 year degree in an HR related field with
2-4 years of experience, knowledge of employment related law and excellent
customer service skills.  Must be able to work in a team-oriented and
