Join us for 2007 State of Iowa SHRM Conference at the newly remodeled
Sheraton West Des Moines Hotel.
The conference Program Committee has done an outstanding job! Take a moment
to learn about the conference keynote speakers:
* Keith Green is the pre-conference keynote speaker. He is the SHRM
Vice President of Member Relations and will speak on the topics of "Ethics"
and "Emerging Trends in Human Resources." His two, two hour sessions are
worth 4 recertification strategic credits.
* Margaret Morford is the opening keynote speaker. She has often
been quoted as a business expert in newspapers such as The Wall Street
Journal, Chicago Tribune and USA Today. Margaret also appears on local ABC,
CBS and Fox local stations as a regular guest. SHRM rates her as one of the
top five speakers for both the 2004 and 2005 National SHRM Conference.
* Scott Cawood is the breakfast speaker on the last day. He focuses
on partnering with organizations to build a people-focused work environment
and is the author of Creating People-Profit Opportunities in Your
Organization.
* Liz Murray is the closing keynote speaker. Liz's story is
exhilarating and her delivery innocently honest, as she takes audiences on a
very personal journey where she achieves the improbable. Her story sounds
like a Hollywood movie - and it practically is. Lifetime Television produced
a movie about Liz's life story entitled From Homeless to Harvard, which
premiered in April 2003. Liz is also the recipient of Oprah Winfrey's first
ever Chutzpah Award and is currently writing her memoirs for Hyperion. Liz
was also the closing keynote at the 2006 National SHRM Conference.
