KINZE Manufacturing, Inc. is a manufacturer of high quality row crop
planters and grain wagons located in Williamsburg, Iowa. Our company has a
strategic vision of growth through product innovation. To support our growth
activities we are currently seeking a Human Resource Manager. We are seeking
an individual who can work successfully in a fast paced and challenging
environment. The Human Resource Manager is responsible for the overall
management and leadership of the Company's employment policies, practices
and procedures.

 

 

Responsibilities:

*	Conducts a continuing benchmark study of all Human Resources
policies, programs, and practices and makes recommendation when necessary to
ensure they are competitive and promote a high level of employee morale.
*	Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations
affecting Human Resources function (e.g., OSHA, EEO, TEFRA, ERISA, Wage
&Hour).  Monitors exposure of the company.  Directs the preparation of
information requested or required for compliance.  Approves all information
submitted.  Acts as primary contact with labor counsel and outside agencies.
*	Directs a process of organizational planning that evaluates
structure, job design and manpower forecasting throughout the company.
Evaluates plans and changes to plans.  Makes recommendation to senior
management.
*	Establishes wage and salary structure, pay policies, performance
appraisal programs, employee benefit programs and services, and company
safety and health programs.  Monitors effectiveness and cost containments.
*	Establishes standard recruiting and placement practices and
procedures
*	Establishes in-house and external training programs to promote
employee development.

 

Requirements:

*	Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related business degree.
*	Five years experience as a Human Resource Manager in a manufacturing
environment.
*	Direct responsibility experience in organizational planning,
compensation, and preventive labor relations.
*	Strong verbal and written communication skills.
*	Participative management style-advocate of team concept.
*	Results and people oriented, but have sound judgment-ability to
balance other business considerations.  Service oriented, but
assertive/persuasive.
