We would prorate the benefits based on the number of hours an employee
works.

For those of you that provide short term disability benefits to
part-time employees, is there anyone who calculates benefits differently
for those that work an average of 30 hours per week as compared to those
who work an average of 20 hours per week? Does the dollar amount or
percentage of salary change for those that work more hours in a typical
work-week?

Thank you,
