Employee Development Manager
Interpower Corporation, an ISO 9001 manufacturer and marketer of power
systems components, is currently seeking a team-oriented individual for an
immediate opening as an Employee Development Manager. The person in this
position will lead the effective development, coordination, and presentation
of training processes and programs that will provide participants with the
tools they need to delight customers. This involves partnering with
supervisors to identify and create resources, programs and tools; providing
departmental and organizational team development opportunities; and leading
development programs that enable participants to fulfill their potential
within the Company.
The ideal candidate will possess:
. Previous training experience, preferably in leadership and team
development
. Experience developing skill assessment tools
. A four-year college degree, preferably in employee development or
training design or related experience
. Excellent computer skills with exposure to media-related training
development
. Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
. Previous experience leading projects independently
The following would be a plus:
. Previous experience in a manufacturing-related field
. Knowledge of adult learning styles
. Previous experience or familiarity with electronics / electrical
application
Willingness to travel to locations within Iowa as well as work a varying
schedule (providing required training to 3rd Shift) is required.
