HR Manager
The primary purpose of this position is to plan strategies, policies and
programs relating to all phases of human capital management in our
Muscatine, IA facility (In 2005, voted Best Place to Work in Muscatine
County) including but not limited to: team member relations, legal
compliance, and talent acquisition, development and retention. They will
recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect improvements in
the HR department and services provided; oversee recruitment and selection
process for location; advise managers and other HR professionals in
appropriate resolution of team member relations issues; research and lead
special HR projects and represent Musco at various community and
professional events and organizations.
A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 7 years experience in a HR related
field is required. Must have previous leadership/management experience;
PHR/SPHR preferred; excellent verbal and written communication skills and
have strong analytical skills. Strong computer skills including but not
limited to Word, Excel and HRIS systems is a must. This position will
support the organization's goals and values, contribute to building a
positive team spirit, work with all levels of the organization, and thrive
in a continually changing environment.
