[IASHRM] Salary Continuation During Work Comp Related Absence

We have always continued the employee's salary during work comp related 
absences. After speaking with our insurance rep that is the main driving 
force for keeping our insurance rates below average. We always require a 
supervisor to transport any employee needing medical attention as per 
our insurance company request. However, it has served a dual purpose in 
that our supervisory staff hears the "Doctor's orders" first hand. I 
believe this keeps our employees from attempting to abuse the system. 
Also our safety and HR staff stay in contact with the individual daily.
