[IASHRM] Health Insurance Coverage for Employee's Spouse

How are companies handling employees choosing to cover family members,
specifically spouses, when the family members have health insurances
through their own employer?  Do you allow them those options? Do the
employees need to provide documentation that the spouse can/can't get
coverage elsewhere?  Do you have incentives in place to encourage
employees not to take coverage?

 

Any information you can provide would be helpful.
