[IASHRM] dress code policies

We just made this very change last year. Our policy reads: "Shoes/sandals relevant to the job, should be in good condition and kept clean." Flip-flop sandals are listed as inappropriate attire.
Bit of caution - there are a lot of flip-flop sandals! We were aiming at anything that "flopped", but got some resistance to the very nice looking sandals that also have no back strap.

Will you share your dress code policy with me? I am interested in changing our current dress code to indicate employees do not need to wear pantyhose or socks from Easter through Labor Day and that they may wear dress sandals but no casual sandals such as flip-flops. I am interested in the wording you have in your dress code if you have similar stipulations in place.
