Our State SHRM Council entered into a unique partnership with ESGR  (Employer 
Support for the Guard and Reserve) about a year ago.  All SHRM  chapters are 
automatically included in this partnership simply by their  association at the 
state level.  The partnership advances education and  awareness of the 
activities of our military personnel and provides an avenue of  information for both 
reservists and employers.
 
ESGR supports both employers and individual reservists.  It's web site  has a 
wealth of information; visit _www.esgr.com_ (http://www.esgr.com) .  I noted 
on the web site that  Holmes Murphy has signed a Statement of Support with 
Iowa ESGR.  Thanks for  doing so!  We urge all SHRM employers take this positive 
step in supporting  our military service personnel.
 
Locally, our primary contact is Allan Enright.  Feel free to email Al  at  
_allan.l.enright at us.army.mil_ (mailto:allan.l.enright at us.army.mil) .   He or his 
cadre of volunteers are available for manager training, Q&A,  etc.  I'm sure
